If you’re interested, I use paint.NET and all I did with this one was to make everything but the red shields sepia toned. I think it gives a very classy effect.
Ah, the victorinox old-cross red alox pioneer, how I wish I had one of these! (UPDATE: I do now! yay!) There’s something really appealing about the simplicity and symmetry of the cross against the red metal scales of this knife that just screams “own me!” at me. Hopefully soon I will

What a striking desktop image! The lorry makes its way though the swiss countryside with a domineering fortress rising in the background. Awesome.
it took me a while to get it cropped nicely – in the end I added black bars because I couldn’t bear to remove any of the castle or the lorry. The original dimensions were not very good for making into a wallpaper 
I made this in paint.NET from a photo I took of the victorinox logo – I think it makes a great desktop background. It’s striking, lots of room for icons, and not too busy. This is my current background image
Take one swiss knife company, a twenty-two thousand square meter field in Zurich and plenty of planning and this is what you get! It’s part of what they call “Project Feldwerbung” and this image has been used as part of the 125 year celebration that victorinox is engaged in this year.
