Randall Made Knives have become somewhat legendary. Perhaps it’s the history behind the knives, or maybe it’s the incredible wait-time on new orders – according to their FAQ, if you want to buy one now, you’ll be waiting until 2014 before it’s delivered. But whatever it is, Randall is one of the most respected, and well-known, custom knife makers out there.
Looking at this 7 inch stag handled Model 1 from Ken Lunde’s collection you can see why. Photo by Ken Lunde, used by permission, with thanks.

Ken Lunde has a gift when it comes to photographing great knives. This is a large Owyhee hunter by Scott Cook with 3.625″ Devin Thomas Black & White Spirograph Damascus blade and desert ironwood handles. And it’s just a great knife, well worth taking a closer look at the unique damascus pattern. Photo by Ken Lunde, used by permission, with thanks.

Another brilliant desktop image of the Blind Horse Knives Bushcrafter by Tim Stetzer from woodsmonkey.com. The knives come serial numbered, with a leather sheath, and are very well thought out – including a flat spot on the back for ferro striking. There’s also a review of the this bushcraft knife on woodsmonkey. But I’m going to shut up now and let the knife do the talking because honestly it speaks for itself:

Update: I bought one of these and it’s as good as it looks. A lovely knife that feels great in-hand.

Tim Stetzer of woodsmonkey.com shared this picture of the Blind Horse Knives Bushcrafter Knife that he designed. It struck me as a great desktop image because not only is it a lovely looking bushcraft knife, but also the flint and striker look so natural alongside this style of knife. The flint striker itself is on my “want” list, let alone the knife! The striker is from primal connection if I’m not very much mistaken.

Idaru2 posted this great desktop image of a Robert Parrish survival knife, complete with sheath, sharpening stone, lanyard, button compass and hollow handle for stashing gear, I think it makes a stunning knife wallpaper!
There’s more info and images on the KnifeForums thread, and the knife itself is for sale – contact Idaru2 by email or on KF but get in quick, I don’t see this one staying unsold for long! Credit is also due to the photographer, Levi Ellyson (check out his website) it makes a great desktop!

Thanks go to TwinBlade from knifeforums for this stunning trio of BRKT Bark River knifes known colloquially as “barkies”. More photos of these and other great knives available from TwinBlade’s KF post.

The super tinker is a lesser known swiss army knife model – identical to the climber but with a phillips screwdriver in place of the corkscrew. A nice combination of tools in 3 layers makes it great for EDC. In this shot you can also see SOSAKer tkdlaxer’s paracord handiwork in the lanyard.
