Randall Made Model One Knife Wallpaper

March 10th, 2009

Randall Made Knives have become somewhat legendary. Perhaps it’s the history behind the knives, or maybe it’s the incredible wait-time on new orders – according to their FAQ, if you want to buy one now, you’ll be waiting until 2014 before it’s delivered. But whatever it is, Randall is one of the most respected, and well-known, custom knife makers out there.

Looking at this 7 inch stag handled Model 1 from Ken Lunde’s collection you can see why. Photo by Ken Lunde, used by permission, with thanks.

Soldier Swiss Army Knife Picture

January 19th, 2009

Nice close-up shot of the soldier model, by tkdlaxer of SOSAK, who tells us that “I chose the book Europe and the Making of Modernity, for the soldier, because it seems to me that its been there to see most of it”. A very astute observation. The soldier model is indeed a powerful symbol as well as a great SAK, and this desktop image shows it off in all its glory!

The Heritage knife is a faithful reproduction of the original swiss army knife by made by Wenger. This image was taken from their catalog. The more I look at it, the more CG it looks; maybe it’s just the lighting?
