The Kawasaki/Carter folder has desert ironwood handles, titanium frame, engraved 416ss pivot screws and blade made from Mr.Kawasakie's own stainless called STH-24 which was made especially for him and was not available on the market. I think the writing on the blade is his name (I have had it read by several Japanese friends), the two lower figures may represent two fighting characters which appear on many of his blades. The blade is hollow ground on one side which is how he ground all of his blades. Currently the knife is not for sale. Hope this helps. Fred
